Welcome to Windows 7!
I am "playing" with Windows 7 in a dual boot setup on my home Windows XP system. I am gradually setting Windows 7 up, finding all the little settings and tweaks to make it mine.
Last night I discovered gadgets. Gadgets are small applications which live on the Desktop. Some of the gadgets that come with Windows 7 are a calendar, clock, weather, news feed reader, and games. You can adjust the transparency ("see-through") of the gadgets so they don't standout until you mouse-over them. Other gadgets are available from Microsoft and third-party programmers.
Let us know what YOU are doing with Windows 7. Got problems, have a comment or suggestion to help others get the most out of the system - post it here!
