Special Interest Group

It is time again for our special interest groups to meet. For those new to the club, the Special Interest Groups, or SIGs, are special meetings dedicated to specific topics.

Remember, SIGs are for the club's paying members. You can give your $5 dues for membership through April 2004 to the moderator at any meeting or mail them with the information at the address below.

The SIG schedule is as follows:

Webmaster's SIG
We're looking for volunteers to "own" each page of the website. If you'd like to learn a little bit about creating web pages and help support the club, please contact Dewey Williams, webmaster.

Coming in January! Hands-on group opportunities for anyone to learn how a webpage is made.

Internet SIG
Internet SIG
Thursday, September 18, 2003, 7:00pm
CompUSA, South Boulevard and I-485

This month's Internet SIG is about free stuff on the Internet. Each year, PC World Magazine publishes its "Best Free Stuff on the Web" issue and most of the program is taken from that. We'll show free sites for weather, travel, computer/handheld model info, telephone directories, Drudge, federal statistics and more.

Please send Paul your suggestions and goals for the reinvigorated I-SIG.
