	Webmaster's SIG
Webmasters' SIG "Behind the Web" Wednesday, August 18, 2004, 7:00pm CompUSA, South Boulevard and I-485 Yes! It's here! The Web Design SIG continues our basic overview of HTML. We will discuss what it takes to get your web pages online. How to get a domain name, a web host and take a look at the differnet options available. We're looking for volunteers to "own" each page of the website. If you'd like to learn a little bit about creating web pages and help support the club, please add your comments to the forum at pc3.org. This group will also get tips from Galen Bolen on graphics manipulation -- from drawing to saving in a format that others can use. More info »

Microsoft Office SIG "Beyond words and numbers" August 16, 2004, 7:00pm CompUSA, South Boulevard and I-485 The MS Office SIG this month is titled Q & A. Bring your questions and we'll try to answer them. If you run out of questions, I'll read to you from the book "Office 2003 Killer Tips". Then we'll give the book away to a member. 	BOINC gets bonked
SETIatHome tried to introduce a new client this spring. Since the first of August they have been down more than they're up. As of August 14, SETI has asked people to return to using SETI classic until the issues are resolved.

	Board Meeting
PCCC Board meeting Monday, July 19, 5:30 pm Tsing Tao, Montford Dr just off Park Rd. This email message is to remind everyone that we will be having our regularly scheduled board meeting Monday the 23rd at 5:30pm at the Tsing Tao Chinese Restaurant located at Montford and Park Rd. If you have any items you would like me to put on the agenda please submit them to me no later than the weekend of the board meeting. I look forward to seeing everyone. Note the change of location -- we're just across the street for a different cuisine. Please put this date on your calendar and please try to attend, since we need your input on the club's direction.
